Projects

Some of the Friends’ ongoing and past projects:

  • New Baby Books – A new book is purchased to honor each child born to a Randolph or Braintree family. Each book is identified with a bookplate with the baby’s name. A letter is sent to the family with a brochure about sharing books with children and informing them of the title of their child’s book. This program encourages parents to make reading and visits to the library an important part of their child’s life.
  • Children’s Summer Reading Program
  • The Book Shop – The Friends of Kimball Library operate The Book Shop, a used book store at 28 Pleasant Street in Randolph, Vt. The Shop offers gently used books of all genres; for children, young adults and adults. For more information, email [email protected] or find us on our “Friends of Kimball Library” Facebook page.
