The Friends of Kimball Library (“The Friends”) is a 501(c)3 non-profit association formed in 1991. The Friends is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, Friends is to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention on the Kimball Library, to stimulate use of the Library’s resources and services, to encourage contributions, endowments, and bequests to the Library, to support and assist the Library in developing its facilities and services, and to support, as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights, the freedom to read.
