We are partnering with the Rec Department and Ridgeline for the third year in a row. Recommended for grades 5-12, but younger riders who feel confident on a bike are welcome. We will be practicing safe road riding skills including using hand signals, crossing traffic, etc.

Mary Anderson will show photos and answer questions about her recent thru hike of the Florida National Scenic Trail at Kimball Library Tuesday, May 27, (6-7:30 pm). Mary has over 20,000 miles of backpacking under her feet. She has paddled the CT River 430 miles from source to sea. She has biked through all of VT’s cities and towns. Mary has also skied the entire 300 mile Catamount Trail in one winter. Now in her 60's Mary is working on hiking all 11 of the National Scenic Trails. This past winter she completed the Florida National Scenic Trail with a broken foot and hiked a majority of it on crutches. Come hear some of Mary’s stories. Bring your questions about hiking, biking, skiing or paddling!
