West African Drumming

He will talk about West African drumming, culture, and musical traditions. Chimie will bring several drums and encourages participants to bring something they can drum on, too!

Make Music Day 2024
Friday Jun 21st 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Kimball LibraryEmmett Stowell is a 14 year old multi-instrumentalist from Montpelier; he sings and plays banjo, piano, and guitar. Fiona Stowell (also from Montpelier) is a 17 year old fiddler, singer, and Celtic dancer.
This program will include singalongs, fast tunes, and waltzes. With songs about bears, foxes, and how to plan your garden just right, there will be something for people of all ages!
Make Music Vermont brings music makers of all ages and experience together on June 21, the first day of summer — a free celebration of music-making that takes place on the same day in more than 120 countries and 1,000 cities across the globe.
