Book Chat: Modern Retellings

Science Comics - Author Presentation

Comic books are not just fun to read - they can be incredible gateways for learning about the world! Graphic novel writer Jason Viola (Science Comics: Polar Bears and Science Comics: The Digestive System) fills his comics with humorous situations, endearing characters, and a lifelong fascination with science. Join Jason for a behind-the-scenes look at how a comic is made and learn about some of the decisions that go into the construction of a professional comic book page! This talk includes time for Q&A and is ideal for ages 7-12.

Every child who signs up will receive a free copy of The Digestive System Science Comic.
