Fair Housing

Saturday Jan 4th 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm - Kimball Library

Designed for tenants and landlords, this presentation by the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity will briefly cover the housing landscape in Vermont, basic tenant skills, landlord obligations, who is protected under state and federal Fair Housing Law, what housing discrimination can look and sound like, and what we can do to prevent housing discrimination.

Middle Grade Book Club

We will talk about The Swifts: A Dictionary of Scoundrels by Beth Lincoln.

Escape Room

Monday Jan 6th 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Work together with a team to solve the puzzles and escape the situation before time runs out! 
Plan to spend about an hour and a half at the library to hear the rules, prepare a team name, and solve the escape room. 

Group A meets from 3-4 pm, Group B meets from 5-6pm
