Horror Comics with Steve Bissette
Come to a Halloween session of Horror Comics and Making Monsters on Monday, October 27, at 3:00. Artist Steve Bissette will show a slide presentation of horror comics, tell a scary tale or two, and teach participants a new way to create a frightening, bizarre monster.
All ages are invited. Supplies and refreshments will be provided.

This year, Randolph is participating in the Vermont Reads program, a Statewide, One-Book Community Reading Program, sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council.

Find out about Kimball Library’s new downloadable audiobook program. It’s free to anyone who has a membership at the Library. You will need your Library card number as a password. If you do not know your number, call the Library and we can give it to you. You may download an audiobook to listen to on an MP3 player, and in some cases you may burn it onto a CD. Ask your librarian to borrow the Library ECHO Pass, and up to two adults and three youths will be admitted to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, for just two dollars each.

The Vermont Library Association continues to lobby for direct state aid to Vermont's public libraries. (Vermont is one of only eight states that do not provide such support.)
