Chandler and Kimball present a Book-to-Film Series!

The Chandler Film Society and Kimball Public Library, cosponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council, are partnering to offer a Book-to-Film Series this winter. The Chandler Film Society is showcasing eight remarkable movies that were inspired by or adapted from significant literary works.
Kimball Library is hosting scholar-led discussions on the eight books at the Library on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

The next discussion will be on April 15th; the book is The Hours, by Michael Cunningham. The discussion will be led by Francette Cerulli.

You are encouraged to also read Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, the inspiration for The Hours. Copies of both books are available at the Library.
