Write Around the Block: A FREE writing workshop in six sessions
10–noon Saturdays; 6:30–8:30 pm Tuesdays
This three-week workshop, led by Sara Tucker of Korongo Books, is designed to accommodate all types of writers, from shy beginners to seasoned pros, as well as all genres. It’s for people who want to start a writing project, advance a work-in-progress, or—perhaps the best reason of all—experiment with some fun exercises in a motivating and supportive group.
If you would like to submit a work-in-progress for a small-group discussion, please register by sending Sara an email at email@example.com. Otherwise, just show up. Come for the whole series, if possible, or drop in and out. The only requirements are to come with a notebook (or your laptop), ready to have some fun.
Sara is the author of Our House in Arusha, a family saga set in Tanzania, and the editor of Korongo Books, a provider of editorial services for writers who want to publish their own work. Her workshops are based on methods developed by Joni Cole, founder of the Writers Center in White River Junction, and other writing instructors who use positive feedback to inspire writers to do their best work.
