Oct 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 10:00 am on Friday, repeating until November 20, 2020
Kimball Library, the Randolph Herald, and Korongo Books are teaming up to produce the Homebound Diaries, a community journaling project.
The year 2020 will be remembered as a watershed moment, a time of disruption, disillusionment, and change. Who will tell the story? We will, of course. The story of 2020 will be told by those who lived it.
The program will kick off with an introductory online workshop on September 11th, at 10 a.m., led by Sara Tucker and hosted by Kimball librarian Lynne Gately via Zoom. You must register in advance by contacting Kimball Library: info@KimballLibrary.org or 728-5073. Subsequent workshops will be hosted by Kimball every two weeks via Zoom. You may attend any or all.
You do not need to attend these workshops nor do you need an Internet connection to participate in the project. All you need are a pencil and paper or another medium of your choosing. Record whatever matters to you enough to pay close attention for several days in a row (at least one week). Do it every day for a week, or a month, or a year.
